Candlesticks
Candletsicks are made from eclectic pieces of Victorian detritus – clinker, cup-handles, teapot lids, gilded spouts, etc – found on the south bank of the Medway Estuary. (Photos: Michael Harvey)
Lidded Vessels
Lidded vessels (‘Tea Caddies’ are for holding tea, maybe, they remind me of allotment and garden sheds that have grown old. Able to do their job with a story attached).
Drinking Vessels
My work is based around recycling, whether it is styles from different cultures or using the clay and glazes left over from teaching sessions.
